5 Tips for using and choosing right paint brush

What is the clue for choosing the right paint brush? For doing every job we need specific tools for that job and painting is the same and to get the great and excellent result for brush painting we need to choose specific brush for that job.

Here is some but important tips for you to choosing paint brush.

Releasing paint

Although Paintbrushes are versatile and easy to use but one of important issue we have to consider is releasing paint when we applying onto smooth or rough surface, cutting-in edges otherwise professional painter will call it dust brush!

 

 

Wooden handle

Well-balanced wooden handles are easy to use and control. They’re more comfortable and less slippery to hold than plastic, so after a day painting, your arm and specially wrist will thank you.

 

Water-based acrylic paints or oil-based paints?

For applying oil-based paints, primers and varnishes, it is better to choose a brush with medium-length, solidly packed bristles but for water-based acrylic paints, we need to choose longer-bristled brushes to get the best, perfect and professional results with.

 

Wash and Drain.

Any type of brushes need to nicely wash and drain after use. For reusing brush you need wash brush based on paint (oil-base / water base) you applied. When you drain it make sure that your brush has not paint.
